What You Will Do:
- Support the fabrication, assembly, and characterization of polyCMUT ultrasound transducers
- Perform electrical and acoustic measurements to evaluate device performance
- Analyze test results and generate documentation, reports, and records to support traceability and future design improvements
- Contribute to the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of fabrication, assembly, and characterization processes
- Maintain organized datasets, measurements, and technical documentation to support quality control and reproducibility
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers across fabrication, MEMS design, systems engineering, and ultrasound development
What You Will Bring:
- Experience using electrical characterization tools such as impedance analyzers, vector network analyzers (VNA), or similar equipment
- Experience in handling and maintaining measurement databases for traceability
- Experience with prototyping and hands-on engineering work (power tools, CNC, 3D printing, CAD design, basic PCB design)
- Basic programming experience using MATLAB, C++, or similar languages
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering tea
What Will Set You Apart:
- Experience with ultrasound technologies, signal processing, or medical devices
- The ability to translate electrical and acoustic measurement data into actionable engineering insights
- Hands-on experience conducting microfabrication processes in a cleanroom environment (Lithography, PVD, surface characterization, etc)
- Experience in mechanical design and automation of processes
- Experience developing characterization, testing, or traceability workflows
- Familiarity with modern AI tools and the ability to leverage them effectively to improve engineering productivity, problem-solving, and decision-making
